So, no more shall I think of Chirps as a ‘young’ band – their album Future Static Prologue is crackling for release and so begins their month-long bar mitzvah party. Kicking off tomorrow night in the Lower Deck with support from Cork’s deer Elk and the craggy Grey Mayhem, you’ll hear the noise long before you see the flash.The continue onwards with dates in Waterford, Galway and Cork before a homecoming show in Ballina with Fringilla Montifringilla next Sunday, 4 July.
