(No Ratings Yet)Really, really enjoying this free album I Found God from Desperadow, the second release on Long Lost Records which is the home of Hipster Youth. Only got it last night but it’s gorgeous. There’s loads of variety, it’s obviously DIY but sounds really good.
These young kids eh?! Spunky brats. LoFi gets a bit of a sceptical look from many music purists who seem to think it’s some kind of style statement rather than a simple approach to making music with the minimum of fuss. There’s some trendiness in tracks like the Washed Out-ish Never See You Again and bleepy Repent but also a timeless kind of simplicity in Say Nothing. You should totally put your money where you mouth is and go check it out because it’s as simple as 1-2-3 clicks to a Mediafire link. And if you like, you can buy for €7.50 and it comes with sweet bits (erotica included).
