Flyer :: The Cast of Cheers

Start as you mean to go on – this superchilled Monday morning has many weekenderpeople already looking forward to this show in Whelans on Friday night. Support comes from Yeh Deadlies and We Are Losers…this will be the first of many high-spirited gigs that herald the arrival of silly season 2010.

It’s been a fantastic few months for The Cast of Cheers who’ve enjoyed a steady stream of success since their debut album Chariot was released in February and they burst into gleeful songs that took everyone by surprise. That they gave it away free on Bandcamp didn’t hurt and soon pretty much everyone was singing along to Tip The Can and I Am Lion or having a bounce to Derp or Deceptapunk. They’re a great fun band and already hard at work on the second album. I’d like to think Ireland was good to them this year and gave them loads of stimulation to write more great songs.
