News :: IMTV Awards

While I was AFK yesterday details of nominees were announced for the 2010 IMTV Video Music Awards. As previously mentioned, the event takes place on 24 November in the Academy with live music on the night from The Minutes, Talulah Does The Hula, Valerie Francis and Colin Devlin.

Events like this are important because they encourage the sharing of new music. Videos are a particularly vital ingredient of blogs, they sure make it easier for me! Great to see that the hard work of bands, film-makers and their creative partners goes further every year.

From the IMTV site ::

With a total of 35 videos nominated, we see some returning categories,  as well as a few brand new ones… and of course some familiar faces. We are also adding not one, but TWO opportunities for the public to have their say – with public votes being taken for brand new categories: “Sexiest Video” as well as “Viewers Choice”.

Load of details including video links, full list of nominees, categories and judges after ‘Read More’.
