News :: Mojo Fury

Northern Ireland’s Mojo Fury will release their debut album Visiting Hours Of A Traveling Circus on 9 May. Here’s the striking artwork for the album::

That pic conjures up some crazy scenes in my imagination: I’ve heard of the karura, a bird-headed man of Japanese mythology but the image above really does bring to mind a circus strongman crossed with a hawk, and imagining those dudes battling it out…wow. Boxing and bloodshed.

There’s a lot going on with Mojo Fury in the foreseeable. Supporting Maybeshewill on an Irish tour in May, roles will be swapped for the Visiting Hours of a Travelling Circus album launch which takes place at the Spring & Airbreak in Belfast on 14 May. Mojo Fury also ran a competition to find another band to open as support on the night, the winners of which are Eaten By Bears.

The first 100 people to buy tickets to the album launch will receive a free signed copy of their new single Colour of the Bear, which is so exclusive it doesn’t even have a digital stream.  Below is the official video for the album’s opening track, The Mann.
