A music blog from Ireland.
A little welcome note to a new blog I’ve noticed lately: Echo Parade. Led by Máire Rowland and Christopher McGrath, it aims to be “a domain for all that is fantastic, confusing, interesting and awakening in the alternative music scene”. Well, deadly!

Though still very new and intermittent in posting, there’s plenty of content including interviews and segments of news. On the front page at the moment you can read their articles featuring Datadrip, Hello Moon, Tieranniesaur, We Cut Corners, Clubfoot and Le Galaxie. They have been talking to many of the artists on the bill at this year’s Hard Working Class Heroes festival, although I feel obliged to point out that a “comprehensive preview” would pretty much include all of the bands playing there this year, not just “some”!
It’s always good to see new music blogs springing up and the more outlets for local music, the better. Give a big welcome to Echo Parade by heading over to have a read and say hello.
