A music blog from Ireland.

A midnight show at Crawdaddy doubles as an audiovisual showcase as some of the most exciting names in live music join forces tonight.
Gary Tuohy of record label Eleven Eleven has put together a mighty line-up of bands from all over the country: Lamp (who released a spectacular album in Sagittarius), Eaten By Bears (winners of Pick For The Picnic) and Wiltz (I always think of them as the knickerless lads) – all very interesting musicians in their own right. However the visual aspect of Slipdraft and Le Tissier is what sets this show apart from average, common-or-garden variety gigs, aside from the fact the music is deadly. I’ve copied a little info below.
The Le Tissier trio are rapidly making a name for themselves and “this year alone has seen them provide optical treats for Calvin Harris, The Japanese Popstars”.
Slipdraft have provided visuals for Halves and Eleven Eleven signings Alarmist, and “combine analog with digital in an almost surreal manner, using their beautiful Zoetrope to create corresponding and conflicting patterns on whatever surface will have them”.
