[fap_default_playlist id="2968"]A deadly new song by Deaf Joe that has been wrapped together with images to make a video: The Softest Touch. It was shot by Neil O’Driscoll in London and Waterford which is the hometown of Joe Harney. As you can see, the roll of pictures are curiosities that just keep your eyes occupied. The real beauty of this is the song, I love how it’s assertive and upbeat despite the dark, ominous rhythm.
The Softest Touch is the title track of a six-song collection of Deaf Joe’s tunes that have been made available for free download from Bandcamp. Deaf Joe is signed to the independent record label Delphi where he has released two EPs Winter’s Glow and The Holy Water. His debut album is due for release in January. First, he plays with a full band on the Button Factory stage this Thursday 6 October at 7:40pm as part of the Today FM vs 2FM ‘battle’ at Hard Working Class Heroes 2011.
