Following on from a successful third album in Flo, the fantastic Ann Scott has announced details of a remix EP for October. Aside from finalising his own Petrichor EP, Colin J Morris contributed a remix of Killerman, as did ex-Mary Janes/Alphastates bassist and producer Karl Odlum, along with unknown presence HellOh. Because everyone loves the puns of Halloween, it’ll slay you via bandcamp on 31 October.
In the meantime here’s the lovely video for Imelda.
To celebrate the launch of the remix EP Ann will headline The Workman’s in Dublin on Sunday 16 October. Karl Odlum on bass, ex-The Frames drummer Dave Hingerty and Gemma Hayes have all been confirmed. The opening act is Joe Chester who has just released a new album She Darks Me.

Before the EP party, Ann plays a more intimate gig in the Dungarvan Town Hall Theatre this Sunday 2 October as part of a new festival Storytelling Southeast. For this show Ann will be accompanied by Kim Porcelli on cello and keys. There’s a strong network of accomplished musicians at Ann’s side, eager to get involved. On a similar note, Ann recently joined Sinead O’Connor, Moya Brennan and the Glasgow Gospel Choir in providing vocals for a charity single in support of the Magdalene Laundry Survivors.
