[fap_default_playlist id="2955"]A busy couple of years for More Than Conquerors has seen the band sign to the Small Town America label in 2010 and quickly release a self-titled EP. Numerous gigs followed and their fanbase swelled rapidly, amassing positive vibes for their live shows from the media and fellow performers. Having spent the majority of October on tour in the UK (having first kicked off with a set at HWCH) MTC are not ready to let 2011 draw to a close just yet. Instead, they have a new EP Boots & Bones that they hope will deliver a fresh punch to the impact they already made this year.

I have to say I think Boots & Bones is a pretty poor title and in my estimation, something more animalistic would have suited better…but that is of course the band’s business, reasons for which lay listeners are not privy to. It’s a pretty accomplished offering that hears them blend their heavy persuasions with the right kind of energy for intimate gigs, providing plenty to kick, spit and sing along to.

Boots & Bones is released on 7 November. More Than Conquerors are still in the UK and play Southampton tonight, Blackburn tomorrow and Liverpool on Saturday 5 November.
