A music blog from Ireland.
Last week you may have seen Bobby Corcoran’s appearance on the first episode of the Community of Independents tv show. He was talking about a new compilation of independent Irish music that’s being released under the Talkcha Productions mantle this Friday. A four-date tour has been arranged to coincide this weekend, kicking off at the Lower Deck this Thursday night with four of the eleven featured artists on the compilation CD: Chirps, Family Planning, Fuck Mountain and The Great Ocean Divide. The launch is followed by gigs in Waterford on Friday 25 November, Cork on Saturday and Galway on Sunday night.
Talkcha Productions is the collective name of a group of creative friends who have joined forces across their respective fields; Luminous Live Events, Harbottle Media, AudioAperture Photography, Dead Ostrich Studios and Sean Zissou Videography.

Talkcha Productions Compilation Vol//1 ::
I don’t have an album stream to link to yet so bear with me for not linking tracks to each of the artists above. However, here’s A New Mountain from Fuck Mountain that I featured a few weeks back.

Limited numbers of the compilation are available on CD at these gigs, featuring some new and unreleased independent music that deserves to be heard loud, so get along to one of the gigs nearby as the admission price is just €5.
