It features a live performance by Melodica Deathship, the new Ambience Affair video, a great interview with Lafaro and Bobby Corcoran from Talkcha Productions (releasing a compilation soon, more news on this next week), as well as a profile of visual artist Slipdraft and a rundown of gigs in Dublin this weekend. Presented by Danny Carroll, brought to you by the Community of Independents.
I’ve been watching with interest as this project began back in the summer with a call to artists for the showcase, contributed to the feature-length documentary and have blogged all the while as things just kept getting better. There’s a very solid team working behind the scenes here who are not only adept on the production side of things but also have a far deeper understanding of independent Irish music than most broadcasters could ever hope for. Really can’t wait to see how much more they can do in bringing great new music to the bigger platform it deserves.
