Here’s a video of Groom performing a stripped-down version of This Golden Age in the RTE studio for Two Tube.

You can download This Golden Age in its full glory free from Bandcamp. The song is taken from the delightful 2010 album Marriage which is one of the loveliest of all Popical Island‘s treasures. Sadly, Groom won’t be playing the Popical Island Xmas Party on 17 December at Crawdaddy, probably because they’ll all be too busy comparing trumpet-playing, self-knitting Christmas jumpers. Or something – really hope to hear more from them in 2012!
