(No Ratings Yet)Sweet news of a new single and Irish tour from Bouts this morning: they release the double A-side of Get Sick/Turn Away on 30 March, although pre-orders can be made from 29 February. Side A, Get Sick, is a tight, radio-friendly 3.5 minutes with a light kick of grunge and great guitar motif beyond the vocals, while Turn Away is looser and makes the very most of its extra time, boasting a killer hook and powerful climax. I’d like to think that by now, most HN readers are acquainted with the Dublin-based four-piece and their guitar-driven stripe of indie loudness but if not, have a listen of their excellent 2011 Bouts EP via the music player tab below or head over to their website.
As you can see above,We Are Losers, Logikparty and Monaghan newcomers Tremoya will play alongside the band when they take to the road from late March, while Land Lovers and Bouts themselves will play support to Large Mound‘s first gig in an age at the Twisted Pepper on 29 March.
