Harmless Noise

One of the better new videos doing the rounds this weekend, here’s Truth from Simon Young, aka the rapper Siyo, who many will recognise from RTE’s contrived attempt at documenting the hip hop scene in the recent Ireland’s Rappers. The Dublin MC, known for his sharp sense of humour and smooth flow, has made this track free to download on the old-school Mediafire platform. Apparently a mixtape’s in the works. Considering the standard is already high due to exceptionally good albums from Lethal Dialect, Costello and Sons Phonetic, it’s cool to have more good stuff to follow: Irish hip hop continues to deliver in 2012.
